The process is for Galaxy Tab 10.1 Newbies should not try this process. But if you still wanna try, then proceed at your own risk.

Prerequisites

• First of all, take the backup of entire important data. This includes SMS, Call Log, Contacts etc.
• Charge the battery till it reaches the 85 percent mark at least.

Procedure for Ice Cream Sandwich on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1

• Download the Ice Cream Sandwich on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 file from here.
• Download the Odin 1.85 v from here.
• Press Volume Down and Power buttons together to enter your device into Download Mode. Long press of these buttons will result as appearance of Android Robot or Samsung Logo on your device’s screen. That’s Download Mode.
• Now launch the Odin.Connect your Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with computer using the USB cable.
• The message “Added!!!” will appear on successful connection.
• Select the files to flash. Follow the below steps.

Click PDA button and choose file with ‘CODE’ in its name.

Click Phone and click file ‘MODEM’.

Click on CSC and choose file with CSC in its name.

Click on PIT and tap on the .pit file.

• You are now done with selecting files. So Click on ‘Start’ in Odin. This will begin the installation process.
• The ICS installation is started. Wait for 5 minutes.
• Your device will reboot, once the installation is over.
